Exhaust hole repair on beater.

Ok, so my beater civic has a hole in the exhaust.
So it sounds like it has a freakin fart cannon.

Seeing as how it is my beater, i dont feel like going through the effort of getting a new pipe section welded in, i'd rather just be a cheap bastard and go with the cheapest fix possible.

any reccomendations? the hols is about 1/2 inch wide, and about 2 inches long. is there any kind of high heat tape or something i can use with this to stop the leak?

at the auto store i work at we sell this stuff called tiger patch, it comes in small and large peices. the heat from your exhaust sets it in place. btw, i work at a murrays auto parts. if murrays isnt in your area go to the 'zone or advanced they sould have something similar

ill co check it out. we got checkers around. ill look for that patch stuff
