need to know what year motor block to use to make a 408
i do not know to much about motors . but im changing from a 306 to a 408.
i need to know also can i use some of my parts from my 306 motor . onto the 408.im on a low budget. im trying to run low 10.00s high 9.00s on nos.

You will need a 351 windsor or clevland and get a 408 stroker kit for it, you could reuse your pistons, but i would get a kit with everything and sell what you have. all forged setup too.
