Dyno Tune
I wanna get myself a dyno tune but besides JDM engineering are there any other places in NJ where I can get one? (JDM only does 2000+ cars)
If not i think ill just get myself a mail order tune.. |
Don't know about your questions, but hold out for a dyno tune even if you have a to travel a little bit....it will be worth it. It will be much better and safer than a mail order tune.
yea i really dont want to get a mail order tune but i also dont feel like traveling too far.. i kno of another custom tuner thts pretty close to me but they dont specialize with SCT... they use the predator tuner
get the dytno tune...its worth the drive IMO. that way you KNOW your A/F will be safe and right.
If you really loved your snake, then youd get a dyno tune for it.
I drove 2 hours one way for mine. My friend drove 4 hours one way to MD for his tune. I knew some one that drove from OHIO to NC for his dyno tune. What's wrong with JDM?
I drove 3 hours one way, 6 hours total in one day.
the computer on 97 snakes is identical (for tuning purposes) to 2000-2004 ECU's. Call up JDM and tell them you want a dyno tune. They'll do it. NO MAIL ORDER TUNES. Dyno or no-go.

I emailed them and they sed nothing under 2000... and JDM is like 15 mins from my house.
I also met Jim's nephew at some car show (jim owns the place) and he sed they wont do anything under 2000... i dont get it?? Im gunna call them and get this cleared up |
wow, that doesn't make sense. well, if you have to drive, it will still be worth it.
yea i totally agree... its just annoying that i have a reputable shop 15 mins from my house and they wont tune it :wallbash:
o well ill call them on monday and see what happends |
