well what are you gonna do with your car we need to know if it will have a power adder, are you gonna do heads and or cams? you have ot think of all of this because it plays alot into what rpm the stall should be and if you need a mulit-disc convertor or not.

I plan on adding a cam and supercharger, but it will probably be a couple of years down the road.
i will 2nd that. they are super nice and build damn good trannys and convertors. They are $$$ but if you want it to last they would be the place to go.
As for you i would get nothing less then a 3,000rpm stall and get one that has muti-disc convertor. This means there are more then one clutch disc holding the power which is a must for power adder cars.
Do you plan to go Kenny bell or a centrifugal setup like vortec or ATI procharger? becuase with a twin screw like the KB you could run say 3k and that would more then likly be the sweet spot for the power band kicking in where as in a vortec or ati or paxton they build psi as rpms raise and i would go more like 3,400rpm stall (which is still very daily driver safe). As this would put the rpms up where the car would really be in boost and making power.

If you want to get the right converter, then it should be one of your last mods.
