Mod plan: Good or bad?

Alright, so I've finally got some money saved up and I'm ready to start doing some modding. I've pretty much abandoned the idea of doing a T56 swap because it'd be way to expensive and I'm impatient. So I was thinking to start I'd get some cams (either comp 268 or VT Stage 2) and a lentech valvebody for my 4r70w. Soon after I would get 4.10s, a tuner, and (hopefully) full exhaust.

What do you think? After all of those mods, what kind of power would you guess I'd be putting down? Also what would you guess my E/T would be at the track (no suspension mods, street radial)

Thanks for your advice and insight everyone.

welp...i would do:
4.10 and tuner package from MT
VT Stage 2 Cams or Comp Cam 262
Exhaust
Valvebody

my reasoning:
you will need 3.55+ gears and a new tune for those cams

Yep and headers so it can breath!!

I think it would be better to put in the 4:10s along with some Mickey Thompsan DRs or the BFGs.315s on some wider wheels would be even better. The next mod should be the tuner. Youll have much better performance with that. After that, do full exhaust and then start thinking about cams.

Gears, tires, tuner, and exhaust will give you ALOT more performance than a set of cams dropped in an engine with stock intake and exhaust. You can launch HARD off the line and get the jump on pretty much anybody. After that, you can start adding power.

you wont need 355+ gears for cams

its says it on VT's site:

Stage 2 cams are the perfect choice for ported heads and all out N/A street/strip performance. MUST BE USED WITH AFTERMARKET VALVESPRINGS. Aggressive idle. 3000-6500 prm. Gains of 30-35rwhp are common. Like 3.73 gear or better and 2800+ stall in auto's. MUST BE TUNED AFTER INSTALL. .560/.575 lift, 225/235 .050" duration, 108 LSA

the bigger the cam, the more low end power you lose

yup.. I would do cams last.. and with an auto I'd be doing AT LEAST 4.10's.. there is a very noticeable decrease with low end power once you put in Stage 2 cams.

4.10's>*

Dude, you absolutely, POSITIVELY, must do 4.10's!
Do that mod first and enjoy your new car.
