Pissed about my bullitt susp. kit

Ok. After I installed my bullitt suspension kit, the front sat really high. Its been around three weeks and the front aint coming down. From the ground to the bottom of the fender, its sitting approx 28 1/2 inches which is higher than it sat on stock springs. I emailed stang suspension and they said it could be due to "variances in spring tolerances and variances in mustang oe build quality and my options were to: 1. Remove the isolators, 2. Cut springs (not highly recommended) 3. get new springs.
I read on some other forums of others having a similar problem.

The back sits just as advertised, the front just ain't doin it. So what would be my best option. I don't wanna buy another set of springs...should I remove the Isoloaters and just wrap the spring in electrical tape to stop squeeking or cut the aftermarket or stock springs? How much drop will removing the isolaters give me. I only need 1/2 inch to make it sit at 28inches all the way around. Gimme opinions!

Sell your bullitt springs and get C-springs

i say take your bullit springs and figure out how much want them cut and then practice on your stock ones, then when you have it down go ahead and cut the bullits, if you do it right you should have no problems

Remove the isolators first, that will drop it around 1/2 inch. If it's not enough then i would cut 1/2 coil first and so on.
My 95 GT didn't have the isolators and it never made anytype of sound or damage to the A arms. And that was for 4 years.

removing the isolators will probably give you every bit of 1/2" lowering. i wouldn't worry much about squeaking... just clean out the pockets before you put the springs in. Don't cut more than 1/2 coil or you risk bottoming the k-member on hard bumps.

I have the same springs and will see how it looks when I get stang back but here is a pic of how it should look.

I'lll prolly take out the isolators first and see where that gets me.

That would be your best bet to start with.I'm actually thinking of removing mine for a little lower front stance.

I took out the isolators and I'm sitting at 27 3/4 in the front now. Looks much much much much better!!!!!!!!!! I'm getting really good at changing springs out so if anyone is in the Enid area, I accept cash or checks.

Frito straight pimpin dat shizzle. Amazing how easy it is after you've done it a couple times huh? Soon you'll be like me and just swap springs on a whim.

The first time I tried it, it took 2 1/2 hours on the drivers side alone. Now I can do the whole front in about an hour without air tools.

Thats what kept me from the Bullitt kit, it doesnt really do much more than the stock stuff. Glad you got it figured out man. PICS!!!
