Cobra Brakes

I have a rattle and determined it coming from the front brakes. They are Cobra brakes. I believe it is the calipers rattling back and forth. When the brakes are applied it's gone and when they heat up it's gone. What could be wrong? It this normal?

Not sure about the Cobra but on the Gt there are anti rattle clips that stop the pads from rattling. If the Cobra brakes have them that would likely be the problem.

Probaly the anti squeel/rattle clips as mentioned. also make sure the caliper is bolted tight to the caliper braket, since there aftermarket they might have lossened off a bit

Thanks

Ok, thanks. I guess I'll pull them apart and take a look. I was looking in the Haynes manual and saw that there was an anti rattle spring on the regular brakes but saw no mention of one on the Cobra brakes.

Brake pad clips

There are indeed clips that go on the pads. If anyone knows where I can get just the clips of has some from old pads please let me know. It would save me buying whole new pad set when the ones I have have a lot of life left in them. I had a look around and could not find just the hardware kit for sale.
