New Tune???
 

Ok so in the past year i've had two bullitts with th exact same mods. Well today i was trying to load the tune from my last bullitt onto my new bullitt. They are basically the same car and they have exactly the same mods, but the Xcal 2 said "wrong vehicle" so i'm guessing i need a new tune for this bullitt. My question is how do i get the new tune? Do i mail ya'll the tuner or can ya'll email me a new tune that i can load onto the Xcal 2? Pleez help i want my tune on there! I reposted this here in gen. tech because no one would answer this in the SCT questions forum section. I need a new tune quick my check engine light is on due to the offroad exhaust and i have gears coming in the mail i need this new tune quick.

Did you load the stock tune back to the other Bullitt so it unlocks the xcal 2 from that vehicle??

By the way, don't worry about the engine light being on due to the x pipe....it doesn't hurt anything by being on......you just won't know if you have any other problems...ha ha.

I forgot to have my tuner turn my check engine light off back in december and just yesterday put a set of o2 extensions on. Gears, that's a different story.

i need a new tune i believe so how do i get a new tune? Do i need to call MT and have them email me a new one? Or do i mail them the tuner or what?

they become vin locked once used. A sct dealer can unlock it for you, but i am sure they will charge you.

once again how do i do this. I understand that the tuner is still locked for the old bullitt. Now do i simply have MT email a tune to me or do i need to mail my tuner to MT or what??? HELP PLEEZ!!! Don't keep repeating that the tuner is locked i understand that now what specifically do i do about it?!?!?!

You will have to send it in to get it unlocked!!!

uhmm you guys are sorta beating around the bush on his question, maybe a contact number or address so he can get his stang on the right track with the programmer.
