http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piefrd03auxs.html.
does anyone think this will work with an 04 gt with the mach 460 in dash 6 disc changer. i would have to add another part with it but im thinking about giving it a try. i hate taking a bunch of cd's around with me. or if anyoue has a better idea let me know.
thanks in advance

yeah that's one way to do it. The only other thing to go with would be something like an FM Transmitter, which would be cheaper, but most of those don't charge your Ipod. I have an Alpine head unit and went with the Alpine Ipod Interface Adapter.. I love that thing :)

I currently have a Clarion 6 disc running through an FM modulator on a Pioneer head unit. It works well, but I will occasionally get a small amount of interference in certain areas. Overall, I am pretty happy with it.

here is the reponse i got:
There is no adapter or interface that we know of that will allow your '04 Mustang radio to control the iPOD through the factory radio. The FRD03-AUX/S, seen here: http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piefrd03auxs.html, along with the UNi-POD, seen here: will get you connected to your iPOD through your factory radio and will charge the iPOD when it is connected. However, the control and display of the iPOD will remain with the iPOD.

Thank you,
