Rear spoiler removal

What would you use and what size to plug the rear spoiler wholes in an 01 GT?

I had used the black plugs they sell at pep boys for like a dollar and i painted them up, But i had a buddy use clear tape, the kind you use for closing big boxes, and it looked a lot nicer then what i did.

he used clear tape on top of the black plugs instead of painting them?

he didn't put black plugs at all, he just used clear tape.

You can go to lowes and pick up some Hilman nylon plugs in 5/16 and 3/8.

The two front holes are 5/16 and the two back ones are 3/8. Dont ask me why ford had two different size holes, but they did.

Well I just fit 3/8 in all holes, not sure if the previous owner made them bigger...
