Default 89 Mustang Question--Suspension

I have an 89 Mustang LX Convertible. I am turning into my dream car slowly but surely. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good suspension kit to put in it, this is a racing vehicle so I want the best racing suspension I can get. I put springs on it a couple years ago to lower it 2.25" but am willing to replace them if needed (I am hoping I don't have to raise it back off the ground). THANKS!

Are you talking Drag racing or corner racing, or are you wanting the best of both?? Fox bodies arent the best corner machines without some cash put into them.

Gonna ask again. is this mostly for Drag racing or cornering.

Just to let you know, for future reference, if it's an 1989 stang, the option is the 5.0 V8 or the 4 cyl.
