Very nice numbers indeed! I'm just curious, and if I may ask, how much did the dyno tune set you back?

Thanks. Well... being as i bought the SCT flash tuner from the shop where i got it dyno'd, and you know those things run about near $500 bucks they tuned it i think for like a hundred bucks or so. Something like that maybe. Maybe it was a lil less.

Damn, I was hoping to see better numbers.

I mean I have close to the same mods with the stock PI intake manifold which is not nearly as good as yours. I guess you really need long tubes to make the bullit manifold be worth while.

yeah i was a bit disappointed myself. Perhaps one day i'll invest in some long tubes and a new mid pipe to accomodate em.

The Bullitt intake really doesn't show a whole lot until you get over 300rwhp. Your mods and numbers are very close to mine. I did 256hp/298tq with a tune, Tunable Induction CAI and an offroad X pipe.

I got 4.10's sittin in the garage. Should have them installed by the end/first of the month. After that, my next endeavor is gonna be a 100 shot.

If you're going to run a 100 shot, don't get the 4.10's. If you race in the 1/4 mile, you'll run out of gear and have to cruise across the finish. If you have to run nitrous, get 3.73's, that way you have enough to make it across the traps in 4th gear.

I'm going 4.10's because I'm just building a heads and cam car, I'll be good to go, and I'm more interested in taking turns fast than getting down the 1/4 mile fast. But I should be able to get down the 1/4 pretty well. Running 13.3's right now with just the mods in my welcome thread and BFG Drag Radials. Once the 4.10's are in, I should be knocking on the 12 second range hopefully. If not, the HiTech cams next month will definately get me there after a retune.

12 second street driven GT with a suspension capable of autocrossing......mmmmmm, heaven.

Even with 4.10's if you raise the limiter to 6,500rpms you can get 117.5mph out of 4th gear which should be more then enough for his car to make it through in 4th gear. Though 3.90's would be a better choice if he wants to stick to a 26" tall tire instead of a 28" tall tire for the track.

Wow, so being as we have basically identical mods and power numbers, is it pretty safe to assume my car would run similarly in the 1/4?

The 4.10's are already purchased, thats the thing. I just gotta come up with the 300 to get em installed.

The 1/4 mile is all about driving and suspension.

I run 315/35 BFG Drag Radials at 16psi, launch at 4000rpms, and with the Megabite SR lower control arms, and the Konis set at all the way soft, I can cut 1.8 60ft times with the stock 3.27 gears. I would say that your car has the potential to run those times, what it actually runs is a matter of variables. Weather, altitude, driving, track prep all play into your times.

As far as running up to 6500rpms...........Not on stock valvesprings, for sure. And by 6500, you're not making any power with a near stock 4.6, so you'll actually run slower that you would crossing at 6000rpms.

Just happened to stumble upon this forum/thread randomly. I've got an 01 Bullitt as well and just put down very similar numbers, almost exactly the same actually, although (obviously) on a different dyno

That's kind of crazy, 3 Bullitts, 3 different dynos, and almost identical numbers.
