I live in Kansas City. Anyone know of a place I can get my car dyno tuned?

I am not aware of any specific shops in KC, but asking this question on sites like this is definately a good place to start. Also, you might want to try SCT's site. SCT (Superchips Custom Tuning) makes chips and designs tunes. They have a listing of dealers and tuners.
Prices vary, but expect about $500 the first time which will include either a hand-held tuner or a chip. Once you have a base tune and a chip, tunes are as cheap as $100. It all depends on how difficult the tune is.
For a stock application you won't pick up much hp unless the base tune is not right in the first place. But, driveability will improve. And if you have an auto, the car will shift better.

I was just in Kansas City for SkillsUSA National Championships. The competition was held in Kansas City at Bartle Hall but I stayed at the Sheraton in Overland Park, Kansas. Haha, i just thought that was funny, i didn't think i'd hear of "Overland Park" after i left.

Thanks for the responses. Overland Park is a fairly well off suburb of KC, not all of it but the further south you go the more money you see. Just attended a cruise night at Winsteads on 103rd st Saturday evening which is not too far from Sheraton.

I highly recommend MC Racing! Nice people, very knowledgeable, and in my opinion, they are the best in KC.
I wouldn't take my car anywhere other than MC Racing when I lived there.

I won't pretend to know very much about Super Tune Racing, never went there, and would never go there either.
But now I live in Tennessee, so I will be going to Delk Performance in Lebanon, TN for most of my mustang needs.

i really should edit my previous post...i found out about Delk the hard way, and thankfully it was only over the phone. They wanted $450 for a rear end rebuild, new gears, and and a speed calibrator install. that's a friggin joke.
I haven't found a shop yet, anyone you'd recommend? im in Spring Hill.
