Default 04 GT dyno

Had the car dynoed and it put down 257RWHP and 293RWTQ. Car is an automatic. The mods I have on the car are. Bassani mid lengths, Bassani O/R X, SLP Power flow catback, BBK CAI, Accufab 75mm tb/plenum, Diablo sport with custom dyno tune. Will try to upload the chart later. I was hopeing for a little more. The guy that owns the shop told me stock 99-04 auto's dyno around 195rwhp.

edit: btw this was on a dynojet and was tuned by Slater's Mustangs in Houston Tx.

Those are great numbers for an auto for what you have done.

You got good numbers for an auto with those bolt-ons.

Ya I have to say I'm happy with the numbers. Next up I am ordering MM Caster Camber plates, and Mach 1 shocks/struts and get my H & R's put on. I plan on buying the vortech mongoose kit from miles per hour this summer. Only looking to make 350-375rwhp 8psi. Car is a DD.

get a powerpipe to go with that blower. get a tranny cooler too if you already dont have one. my tranny didnt have one and i killed it 6 months after the blower went on the car. WOT shifts lagged bad i always bounced the limiter.

i bet your happy to see that they tune with diablo now

What do you reccomend? The Steeda power pipe or the miles per hour power pipe?

edit: Dur...I see you use the miles per hour power pipe. What kind of tranny cooler should I be looking at?

I have an '02 that dyno'd 222 rwhp w/ just a K&N Filter and its an auto, not sure if that was normal or a freak of a GT.

Stock 99-04 auto GT's DO NOT dyno 195rwhp on a dynojet. Either way youve got a high 12- low 13 sec car. Get a cooler, go the J Mod (see the write up on my site) and start saving for a converter.

Maybe so, but after I get my springs put on in a couple weeks I will be getting some new meats for the tires(sumitomo's suck). Then it's time to save for the mongoose kit

of all the 99-04 autos I've seen dynod (a bunch) 215-230 has been the typical range I've seen from stock - mostly stock cars without a tune. Bump it up 5-15 after the tune. Either way you made killer numbers for an auto car. Be stoked.

FWIW... in my experience when you get a factory freak you know it. Like the 256rwhp BONE STOCK 00gt manual (not even tuned, stock air filter, silencer still in place) of an old acquaintance of mine or the car of another pal of mine that makes 297rwhp from a theoretically bone stock 01gt (we think the previous owner did something major and fibbed about it during the sale but we can't tell for sure.) It idles smooth as silk and is relatively quiet. Whatever the case it's a disturbingly fast for for bone stock 2v and definitely a freak.

How much did they charge you for your pulls at Slater's? I didn't realize they had a dyno and I pass that place all the time. I need to get my 2006 F-150 on the dyno to check the A/F's from tunning. Hopefully they won't have any problems with a truck of this size. Hoping for a minimum of 250/310 at the wheels... :-/

Well they charged me $1400 total. That was includeing labor for the header install and I bought a diablo sport predator from them, and they included a dyno tune. I believe dyno pulls are $60. They use a dynojet. Allan the owner is a really cool guy. He has a 700rwhp fox.

Cool thanks for the quick reply, I'll have to call to see if they can get my 2006 F-150 FX4 Supercrew on the dyno or not. Thanks again.
