I am trying to get the videos uploaded right now so be patient with me. Photobucket is being a biatch right now.
I had a total of 7 runs today to get it dialed in. here is the first run. I recorded them all but you only need to see a couple of the coolest ones The first run with no tune resulted in 302 rwhp 312 rwtq STD. He had two runs to figure out the air fuel numbers After this was done he fixed the fuel numbers and pulled two runs 305 rwhp 332 rwtq STD. The knock sensors were going off retarding the timing the maximum 6 degrees pulling a false knock so he adjusted the timing out and got two more runs. Final numbers: 310 rwhp 332 rwtq STD. Stock Ford numbers 305 HP 320 TQ to the crank. Assuming a 17% loss I could be around 362 HP 388 TQ Here is the dyno sheet. The top end number over 5K werent huge. The gains were in the bottom range RPM's which added a significant amount of torque. This thing is REALLy fun to drive now!! cant wait to add gears now!! ![]() |

I didnt end up going to marvs. I had an appointment on the 8th of september and simply couldnt wait any longer. With marv it was $550 for just the chip & tune on 3 runs. I went to a guy in IL and I got the programmer xcal 2, chip, 7 runs for $625

Very nice dude! What mods do you have? I hate asking this cause I don't want to sound like a jerk, but just out of curiosity how come they didn't give you SAE corrected numbers??

no it was Corey Simpson in Stillman Valley @ simpson performance.
As to why they dont give corrected number to SAE?? I dont know? he said its about a 8 hp difference to sae numbers so I figured those who want to know can subtract. The STD number feeds my eurge to beat my chest ego......there I said it LOL Performace Mods: JLT RAI O/R Prochamber Magnapack Catback |
