Default Icefreezen Dyno

Ok got back from the dyno and not too impressed with the HP but damn look at that torque. I'm guessing the auto tranny sucked up a lot of the power and if you look at the temp. it was fudging hot as hell today.

you really cant complain man i mean you made 232 all motor figure like what 5ph for the 4.10 gears your right near 240 like i guessed. The nitrous numbers still bother me i dont know why it didnt do like 350-360, like i me and justin said this hot *** air really kills the cars power. still it pulls like a mother ****er doesnt it. but **** man your missing 18hp worth of nitrous hp. That still kinda bothers me. but the air/fuel is pretty good so thats nice.

Actually I would have expected at least 470lbs of torque........The HP is low for what you have. You are running a 100 shot right? I know for damn sure that mines making more than 340hp on the bottle. I cant show you any dyno sheets but the results on the street prove otherwise.......

Is your car tuned? That A/F ratio looks decent but it goes plenty rich on the top end.

Yeah it was tuned today. I think the auto sucked up alot on top of the 90 degree weather today was the reason for the decrease in HP.

Yea it must have been the auto and heat doesnt help either. Well your doing better than me cause I havent even had mine dynoed or anything....:wallbash:

Did they have to fix the A/F ratio when they tuned it? How it look before they tuned it?

at what rpm did you spray it at? I've seen lots of mustangs we've dynoed sprayed at different rpms and in the higher rpm area on a 100-125 shot you should be making 330-350. But then if you do like one guy wanted and spray it at 2500 you wont make but low 300rwhp and over 500 ft trq! Otherwise good numbers man.

You made a good point the guy tuning it said he wouldnt spray below 3000 so thats what i'm assuming.

good peak numbers but is the torque suppose to fall off that much? I'd think it would be a bit flatter of a curve then that.

If you payed for that nitrous tune, I'd be right back there today to demand a better looking A/F. You have a pretty mean lean spike and then your A/F dips to ~ 11 to 1. That curve looks like an untuned nitrous pull if I ever saw one There is a lot of power and safety left in that tune....you got much less than you payed for IMO.

i hear debates weather steep gears make you dyno @ less hp . . but i dont know. Either way it should be pretty damn quick.

I'll have to make dustin take me to check it out when i come to o-town next time

For those saying the a/f is bad, you must have great vision because the graph is really hard to see from the scanned version. It looks like the very bottom of the graph is a 10.0. If that is the case, hes not running nearly that rich.

Graphs can be deceiving....it is all about the scale you use.

The A/F starts at around 14 to 1 upon activation and doesn't get in the safe zone (12 to 1 for nitrous) until after 4500 rpm. That's a bit too risky for me. This can be tuned out somewhat with the right moves though. Also if you follow the A/F line you see it eventually settles out damn close to 11 to 1. A properly tuned A/F may still have a slight spike upon activation but should quickly settle out around 11.5/12.0 to 1 for best power and safety. It's my opinion the car needs another trip to the tuner....but it's not my car

BTW, I can see the graph quite well after using the enlarge feature. My old eyes can't see **** without it:wallbash:

Yor torque increase is 180.43whp......which is nice even for a 125 shot, But why do you only gain 107.39 peak whp? NX kits will put down 125 whp normally.

You think your #'s are bad. I only got 100 HP from the 150 shot. But my TQ was 454. My NA #'s were 245 and only 345 on the juice. But it was hot and there was really no airflow in the dyno room he used
