Default almost 13's

I had a decent day at the strip last saturday, temps were cool, mtr ran strong, street tires were the limiting factor for hitting 13's. sixty foot times were best of 2.172 and worst 2.216 best 1/4 was 14.012 and worst of 14.065 in 4 back to back runs. trap speeds were best of 98.72mph and worst 98.37. the car ran 3 tenths quicker and 2-3 miles per hour faster than the last time out in hot humid weather.

Should get that 60' time down. Ive got less than you and I run 13.5 @ 103 on pirelli tires. Try playing with your shift points.

Last time I went to run it was warm and humid. If I pick what you did, (going to Gateway Friday night) just by having cooler weather, Ill be at a 13.9 at 100 plus with my 01 auto. What elevation are you at there?

The Elevation Is 1200 Feet. 3 Factors That Make Me Slower Than You Matt Are #1 Convert (heavier) #2 I Weigh 280 Lbs My Self #3 Your Pirelli Tires Probably Bite More Than My Generic Hard Rubber Tires, even Though I Dropped Pressures Way Down.

Pretty good times for a auto vert man!! You get some better tires, and you'll be in the 13's all day long, or let some little dude drive your car!

Get that 609 foot down. if you can just pull a 2.0, you will be about a 13.8.

im not sure about that statement. my has a auto vert with similar mods. he has 373's he never hit a 13. only 14.0, i have a auto and the fastest that went was a 13.4 before the blower. that was with goodyear gatorbacks dropped to 20 psi. keep working on it and you will get there.

I think 13's are possible depending on what gears you have. I have 3.90 gears. The coupe is lighter than mine, your probably lighter than my 275 lbs and you also have about 5 more horsepower
