I went to the track and times sucked I believe it was the Sumi that didn't help worth a crap they are 315 n do nothing my old kumho 275 gripped a lot better than these. Run 1- 15.082 @ 97.71 60- 2.6 Run 2 - 14.3@ 99.11 60-2.24 Run 3 14.8 @ 95.17 60- 2.29 and misssed 3rd gear

ET - your ET is high due to wheel spin. (reason why I ran 14.9 @ 101 or was it 103 miles per hour.)
Gripping is everthing. Yea lower ET but better 1/4 mile time.
Invest in some radials.
But then again, this guy thinks anything can run 13's. tell me how well you run 13s on your street tires and launch off the bottle, thx.
you don't have enough to constitute 13,s to be honest. You've got gears, and a diablo. your other ****, tbh, is nothing. Throttle body, cai, headers, none of it is going to do much. Invest your money into somethin to actually go fast. Nitrous, Turbo, Supercharger, big engine build. And you'll run better.
How you ran 14.3 beyond me. Maybe my times were due to hot climate and **** tires. TBH slips or nothing though.. (kinda hard to **** up a launch on a auto )

stephen ran a 14.1 basically stock and 03 gt broke in the 13's both on 275 street tires. There was quite a few new edge mustangs with nothing more than pullys, gears and exhause today at the track hot as **** outside breaking into the 13's all day long. There was many mustangs breaking 2.0 and sub 2.0 60ft's. But as i said on some different STREET tires hiss car should run high 13's with his mods

If he's a sixxer (which i think he is) he won't break into 13s with what hes got.
If hes a GT, sure. GT stock will run 13s with a good driver.

Yup it is a GT forgot to mention. I only go to the track like once a month maybe that's why i've thought twice about DR or slicks. I use it as a dd but I am seriously thinkin on upgrading to something better than the sumis any ideas?

The 60' sucks and is killing you. With any better tire and not even a drag radial will help out much more then those tires they are garbage and don't even last longer then the nitto drags. If you can get the 60x down to a 2.0x which most any street tire can do and powershift it will go 13's. You have the mods to do it just need to go out and practice some more. Thats half the fun anyhow

Yeah I was hoping high 13s at least that day and nope nothing I wasnt even launching high prob maybe around 2k or 2100 and slipped out the clutch but no results. I want a tire that could hold up decently to everyday drive yet have some grip. I usually drive about 50 miles a day in the stang so think twice b4 buying dr. I am a college student so I dont wanna go all out on tires either as I dont have the $$ =(
