5.4 going to the track

It's not in top form, but i got the bug after going to see the harley drags this weekend. I'm putting in an inverter to run my laptop, and i'll be recording some PIDS for diagnostic sake off my SCT2. Any recommendations on which ones i should be monitoring?

I'm thinking: MAF V, O2's, TPS V, temp, some fuel pump PID to see if i max out the v6 pump, injector PW, net torque (how accurate you think that is?).

Anything I'm missing?

I'm runninng a 2001 5.4/auto, custom tune (not dyno'd), no cats, CAI, 2.73 8.8", 245/45r17's on mach 1 rims.
If you have a reasonable guess on what kind of track time i'll run i'd like to hear that too. I'm thinking low-mid 14's, but i can't say for sure with that highway gear in there.

i think your right in guessing mid 14's I would say the same mid-high 14's. You need better gearing and a convertor to get that thing moving. I cant wait to see how it does though. DO post up the numbers.

I'm calling mid 13's with those rear end gears. If you drop to a 3.27 or a 3.55 you can look for bottom 13's or even top 12's. Gotta stick the launch.

I like your estimate, but i'll only get one pass if i go that fast because i dont have a driveshaft loop.

Remember you have a lot more Tq. than the 4.6 ever did. that will play a factor. becasue it's untuned high 13's

With the tires and only one pass, I have to agree with the mid14's. But with those gears and that kinda of torque, you should be flying over the line.

So what happened?
