I know what you mean, there are places I can't go becuase I would freaking high-center the car and ruin the exhaust.

What size are your stock rims? The ones you have on now are 17", the base rims were 15" and the next up were 16". That's a 1" and a .5" difference in radius, and I would bet that the sidewall is taller on your stock rims so it makes the difference even less. Give me the sizes.

Well, I actually think you should leave your aftermarket rims on for going to the strip becuase it really won't make that much of a difference. I bet your stock tires are pretty crappy and if you have any traction problems now it will only be worse at the stip. What are the tire size for thoes stock rims, 205-60-15? And your aftermarket rims, 245-45-17? something like that?

ya i think so, but on mothers day whenever i saw my stock tires n they looked like they had alot tread left on them other then my aftermarket rims, lol, so i think ill get good traction at the strip

The amount of tread left has little to do with how much traction you'll get unless your driving through mud or snow. If your old tires could have all the tread in the world but if you can dig your nail into them then they won't bite very hard. If your aftermarket tires have more than 3/32nds and you can dig your fingernail into them more than the stockers, then thats the ones I'd take. Or look at the traction rating for the tires.
