slower than i expected

Ok, so i have this little computer that hooks up to my car taht i can run 0-60 times and the 1/4 times. I ran the 1/4 3 times only recored the last two here they are.. kinda slower than i expected...

60'-2.42
1/4-15.72
speed-89

60'- 2.36
1/4-15.83
speed-91

on the second one the road was really bad hince slower than first.

on the first one i spun the tires in first..

but what i have is a 97 NONPI automatic vert. with only o/r x and mac flowpaths with a drop in K&N filter

97 Auto Vert? 15's is prolly about right, but those times seem about a second slow. I have one of those computers and ran it at the track and it was off by about a second.

okay cool, because not too terribly long ago, i ran a camaro that was running 14's flat and i was only about 3-5 links behind him so i was thinking a second and a half off of him would be more than that.. and we did a little more than 1/4.
also would the 0-60 be off any becuase last time i tested that i ran something like a 7-8 second and i think that was a little slow...

15.0 in the quarter would probably be a reasonable assumption for your car.

best i got outa my old 96 gt 5speed coupe with o/r x and flomasters was 15.01. and that was with ecent driving but no powershifting

15.50s is close to what your car would run if you actually take it to the track. To even think that you will get 14s with a nearly bone stock automatic aint gonna happen.

Red, I want a 5.4 but two problems... I really dislike my automatic with a passion boiling in my heart

!!! (sounds stronger than hate) and i don't have sufficient funds for a 5.4... and i would want a DOHC because i'm greedy, and want to beat my boss n/a to n/a in his ss camaro.. (is that possible, even with the 5.4 DOHC??) and acutaly i was hoping close to the 14 mark...
