Default Finally ran my skinnies tonite

I've had the suckers in my garage since January, finally got the wheel studs in. Put them on over the weekend to test for clearance and everything was good to go. Ran at test and tune this evening. Got 10 runs in battling with my Nitto's all evening but I stuck with it and finally on my last two passes dead hooked like a mother. Ran a 12.953 @ 105.10 with a 1.794 sixty foot and backed it up with a 12.879 @ 105.450 with a 1.775 sixty foot four minutes later. The DA was 1062 feet and corrected the 12.879 was a 12.72 @ 106.64.
Also I had the pleasure of whooping up on two LS1's which I always enjoy a great deal as they made my life miserable last year at the track.

They are 4.5" Weld draglites with Firestone LeMans 165's, picked up over a tenth from last week plus I looked like a real racer, lol.

WHY ARE YOU NOT RUNNING YOUR SLICKS!!!!! Awesome times! You have more left in 60's. Guaranteed you can run a 12.80-85 with slicks Glad I have LT's on the way :laughing7

As long as you have airbags, you will only LOOK like a real racer.

Yeah only d.o.t. approved tires on street tire night. I can run slicks on Weds. nite slick tire test & tune but I don't like racing a bunch of 9 second trailered in ringers. It's much more fun winning most of my races instead of only being at the 1/8 mile when my opponent is done.

I'm running the slicks next week, have to install the drive shaft safety loop to be legal.
