Default i have a question on trans brake

Look i have just change my tranny from the proshifted TKO 600 to a C-4 3 speed auto with a reverse body and pro tree brake and 4500 stall. Now I have never race with a auto tranny I have always had a manuel tranny. So if someone could explain this to me I would be greatly thankful

i guess what i am asking is how does a trans brake work. And how do you stage your car in with a transbrake.

the way i could describe it is that its a push button clutch. mash the pedal push the button and take off....

Correction..

A trans brake locks reverse and first gear... thus restricting the tranny to turn... and when you let go of the button, it pops reverse back out, just like dumping the clutch in a manual. Put the trans in first, push the button when you're staged, stall it up to whatever RPM you'd like, and let the button go when it turns green..... o ya, and hold on for the ride of your life!

hey warnick... shoot me a PM. I'm looking to get into a tko600 ... may be able to get you a c6 tranny (much stronger than c4) as a partial swap. LMK if interested... I'll take my responses via PM.

Default transbrake

Hey on that trans break is it not true that he can hold the button past the stall convertor rating ? Or dose it not matter beens that reverse and first ar locked. I guess my ? is if you have a 3200 stall can you hold the button to 4000 with out it starting to release
