new best times!!

well i went to the track this weekend and i pulled of three of my best times in a row!! i ran a 13.6, then a 13.5 and then a 13.4.

the 13.4 was with a 2.0 60 ft and it was against some gutted civic and the kid was talking all this shit and ran a 13.9 so i smoked him lol

it was a blast im goin again on thursday hopefully my lca's come in by then.

a 100 wet shot or a procharger would put you into the low 12 easy. heck do a cam, i know that i can get a 100hp off a big cam in my ls1. your 4.6 should get somewhere close to that. what rwhp are you getting.

Our 4.6 will see about 30-40 at the wheels on a stock setup

i would love to swap out the cam for a bigger and badder cam but with college coming up i really have to hold back on mods for a while even though some people would say my car is slow or a full bolt on GT is slow but in reality there faster that 90% of the cars on the road maybe even more.

Once you go a few more times you will get that time down. It takes some pratice trust me. What miles per hour did you run?

my trap speed was 104 just for a reference what should i be running as far as times go i have the mods listed below plus headers? i think 13.4 isnt bad i was quite proud but i do want to get it down.

you can go high 12's with 104mph trap speed. Figure once you get it to hook up to loose a 1mph or soo which would get you high 12's with traction and good weather. So go and pratice some more!!!! God i love drag racing.

i think im going again today im going to practice slipping the clutch out and maybe i can get it to hook wen i go i do a burnout not in the water box but on dry pavement. should i be doing that with street tires. i figure the only thing it hurts is my wallet

you dont want to go threw the water, GO AROUND IT! after that just a few short seconds to clean the tire of rocks and what not is all that is needed. No big burnout needed.

well i did go to the track yesterday and im quite proud of my self because im really getting the launch down i started launching at 2,500 and slipping the clutch and i go two 2.00 and one 1.93 sixty foot times. but i still got a 13.4 all three times whats up with that?
