Anyone want to instruct this girl how to do a proper burnout at the track? I've tried starting it in second, dumping the clutch, and slamming on the brakes but it no worky for me. Should I try it in 3rd or what?
What am I doing wrong? If I don't figure it out soon I'm going to get one of those line locks and just cheat! :tongue3:

I do the same thing, but in first gear. However, I dont "jump" on the brakes that hard. I think by doing this it kills the burnout process. You are gonna have to figure out how hard to get on the brakes w/out killing the burnout. You wont roll fwd but a couple feet. If you are backing into the waterbox at your local strip I think this process still works for 2nd gear. Good luck.

burnout 101:
1-turn off traction control 2- put in first gear (if you have stock gears and street tires, with aftermarket gears 2nd is ok) 3-rev motor up jump clutch and move clutch foot over ot the brake 4-press brake till car stops moving but not so much that it cant do the burnout. then once your done (street tires just need a few secs to clena them off, drag radaisl and slick need more) let off the brake and then off the gas and press the clutch in. Thats it, this should help ya out.
