Raced 04 cobra, c6 vette, Maybe GT500

Yep today after our little chicagoland mustang meet, I raced a c6 corvette i think it was stock, pulled about a car on him and kept pulling away until he stopped. then raced a 04 cobra with 2.76 pulley, intake, tune and exhaust. His numbers were 480rwhp and 490rwtrq. Did two 2nd gear pulls dead even, I mean DEAD even, then we pulled over and talked for about 15 minutes, real real cool guy, he couldnt believe i was staying with him, then we decided to do another pull this time 3rd gear, 3 honks and i pull about a car on him and we hit 4th and he came even with me. probably would have beat him pretty bad if we did it from stop.

and to make a long story short... i was at my bros wedding reception, my bros wife has really rich uncle who owns a gt500 convertable who baught it not to drive it ( also own the 35th made bullit) it has 200 miles. he was talking to me, he said he wanted to race, then i let him drive my car for a bit and later decided that he didnt want to race tomorrow morning, he said

mybe at the track. ha

well that was my day... fun!

no racing the GT500 the guy doesnt want to do it. oh well, i would have won anyway and would have gotten it on camera

that would be awesome, the only thing is you would have to do is find a way to make it work with the stock comp, and cut down the intake or get a big hood, there was a guy on stangnet that put a 5.4 3v in his 96 GT and he cut down the intake to make it fit, his numbers werent great but the intake was a big restriction

What is your compression ratio? I'm gonna assume that with your almost 450HP it's gotta be pretty high.

Not to be a dick, but looks like you need to get some glasses. He did not say anything about beating a ZO6. It was a stock C6 (400bhp). Check your info before you call BS.

Nice dude.....you beat a couple of bad ass cars. I bet your car is 400lbs lighter than the cobra and the C6.....well those things are bad ass. Congrats!

Well I don't think he is lighter than the C6, but he definitely has the all motor horsepower to just romp on him. Love the numbers and the love the car man. Is your Cobra R hood carbon fiber? where did you get it?

oh for sure....those c6's are pretty freaking light. 3v2002gt has one of the nicest cars I've seen....with some wicked N/A power to go along with it.

thanks man, I still LOOOOve your mach, right before i blew my engine I was about to trade it in for a azur blue mach 1 but decided not to. I guess it was worth it for the money i would have paid extra (actually less) for the mach I got to do this to my car, only difference is i was kinda forced into it ha ha

A Viper weighs barely 3200 lbs., they are a lot lighter then our Mustangs. As for not having anything nice to say, it's hard to do that when it seems like I'm in a room full of teenagers. There is a lot of bad tech advice given on these boards. Sometimes I think half of the people in here are wanna be's who don't even own a Mustang.
And I've owned 9 in my lifetime.

Not to be a dick, but if your the king of mustangs please clear the bad advice up when you see it. People get bad advice on every mustang site, you just have to be smart enough to figure out the good from the bad and do research.
