Very easy to beat man dont be worried. before i had my blower there was this red 98 trans am that wanted to race me from a dead stop and a roll. i beat him by so many cars off the line that i let off. then from a roll i pulled him like 4 or 5 cars to 100 miles per hour and after that i just coasted. it should be a breeze for you and just remember that its a LT1 which our cars should beat really easily.

depends on which year it is...
97's are LT1's
98's are LS1's

98-02 camaro's/trans am's have 6 spd's and if the only mods you have are intake lt's and o/r h I believe he will walk you, but goodluck and race him anyway.
