Default Just got home from the track....

Results were promising, but the numbers weren't there. I matched my best of 12.98 several times with a worse 60'. I also trapped nearly 107mph on on of my runs. I was hoping to see some 12.80's but no dice. The miles per hour is there, I just couldn't hook today. It was the 1st day of the track opening. It was extremely slick, I was spinning way past the 1/8....no BS. All in all it was a good day,

A bad day of racing is still better than a good day at work right? At least you made it out in one piece and didnt get worse!

Yeah I improved .003 My 60's were way off and my 1-2shift was occurring at 5750. When my car was tuned, it was programmed to shift at 5750rpm because by the time the 120,000 mile + tranny got it done it was 6400rpm. Well, I J-modded the tranny yesterday, so guess when it shifts now? 5750 Thats why I'm not too upset about only improving .003. Between short shifting, worse 60's, but picked up over 2mph....it'll be there, just might take some tweaking. I have already wrote 3 more tunes since I got home from the track. NMRA Michigan will be a great test. 12.70-80's :laughing7

It was a spin fest today. My car hooks....95-100% of the time. Today, just when it would get grabbing in 1st, it would bang into 2nd and start all over again. The feeling of chasing your car towards the wall was not fun. I was wondering how the guys with fast cars were getting down the track at all. That has NEVER happened to me before. Very odd feeling.
