FWIW...I called every company on the contingency list, told them I would be running thier products in NMRA, and asked if they could send me some stickers. Not a single company refused, most sent me at least 4...cept flowmaster...they sent me about 20 of those damn things. Hell, SCT sent me two die cut decals and even a badge. It's plastic chrome...just like an SVT badge and about the same size. I put it on my trunk, opposite the Ford emblem. I'll try to get some pix of it later.

I called companies that weren't contingency sponsors for me, but I had thier parts...like Trick Flow. I can use those at my local dragstrip for thier points program that I run as well.

EDIT: Dammit...I may not be making Michigan after all. Mr. City Taxman decided to take a big wet bite out of my ***. If my GF goes, we will need a hotel, plus I still have to buy my DR's and get my 4.10's, LCA's, and UCA's installed. I still may go...but I won't be bringing the car...maybe I could just ride up with Glenn, but it's a race just to get HIS car put back together.

Dude, you better not pay to have your lcas and ucas installed I'll smack you when I finally meet you! And tell the girl you are sleeping in the bed of the truck for the weekend :tongue11: that would probably go over like a lead balloon

No, no, no, you misunderstood...lol. I'm have to buy my DR's. LCAs, UCAs, and Gears are all being done by me and Glenn.

Glenn is a little more hardcore racer than me. I'd rather help him get set-up for the season (seeing as he's missed two races already, and may miss MI) than **** around with my little crap like control arms and K members. He's got a lot more money and time invested in his...so he takes priority.

I don't expect to win anything at all with the NMRA this year...it's more for fun. I'm more concerned with the points/ contingency program at the strip a few minutes from my house...I plan on running the full schedule there...every sunday.

Yeah yeah....just busting on ya....How is Glenns car, its getting painted isnt it?

Looks like the clutches in my tranny are shot....should be pulling it this weekend or next weekend and having it built.....also upgrading to a B&M 7qt pan with drain plug, braided steel and an fitting coolant lines, and a BIGGER B&M cooler with its own fan that will have an on/off switch in with me. I figure with the 4000 stall converter any help cooling it down in traffic will be worth the few extra bucks! I'm just debating now if I should upgrade the internals, or just buy new stock pieces and put them in.

I gotta question about that anyways. Like I said, I won't see you guys at Martin, but what does the NMRA do if it rains the entire weekend? Do they reschedule later in the year?

I wouldn't want to drive my Mustang 600 miles to an event only to have them turn around and cancel.

I went to atco last august for the NMRA races....cancelled the whole weekend after everyone sat at the track for two days in the rain. There were a few qual runs the second day, and some test/tune the first day, but very little. Didnt reschedule or anything, just didnt count the weekend towards anything from what I understand
