Can I beat an automatic '93 Z28? Some punk wants to line up and race cuz he says his car can beat anything. He says its a stock 5.7 liter other than a flowmaster catback he's got. I know nothing when it comes to Cameros... don't they have like 305HP?

with your mods, definatley...I beat an ls1(ws.6

) with an exhuast..i had the same mods as you minus the TB and plenum

i belive in 93 they had 275 and then in like maybe 97 it got bumped to 285 in the z28's anyway the SS has a bit more hp

im pretty sure just the SS in like 02 or 03 (somone can correct me cuz im not positive) put out over 300 i think the ws6 ta in like 02 put out 305 or 345 not sure

93 was the first year for the LT1 350. Stock it was 275hp and 325 tq. 2.73 rear gear was standard with 3.23s optional. Totally stock with a 6-speed, they'd run about 14.0 in the 1/4. 98 model introduced the LS1 with 285hp. In 00' or 01' it was 305hp stock.

96-97 LT1 bumped to 285hp
98 LS1 (z28)305hp
99-02 LS1 bumped to 310hp (z28)
SS and WS6 LS1 325-345hp
not sure how much LT1 cars weigh
but LS1 are suprisingly light
fiberglass doors, plastic front fenders, aluminum motor and driveshaft.
I know Lt1's have the same body as LS1 but lt1's have an aluminum hood but cast iron block
stock LT1's run 14.1 at 101mph and 0-60 in 5.4 (auto)
