Walked a Terminator........

:punk:

I finally have my progressive controller working and its insane! I used to spin going into 2nd gear but now it just pulls hard! My lowend just starts at a 10hp shot and then it ramps quickly into a 100 shot towards the redline. Its crazy from a dig but from a roll I need to ramp it up a little faster to hang with pullied cobras.

I was at the street legal drags saturday night. There are no times and its just short of an 1/8th mile.

I saw a redfire hardtop snake pull in and I was like "FINALLY! I have my chance to run one with my new mods!" I watched him beat a new GTO and some other mustang GTs. When he pulled in I asked him about mods and he said its basically stock with a K&N, chip, and catback......I asked If he wanted to run it later and he was like sure.

So I pull up to the line and I was holding my revs. The light came on slow and I jumped the line a few feet before it turned green. I hit the brake and waited for the cobra to launch. When he did I rolled SLOWLY into throttle and we were side by side for a second.......

I heard his blower whine and he pulled a good car on me. He got boost before I had my spray. I felt the 10hp shot kick and it pulled hard as crap. At full spray in 2nd gear my back bumper was a few feet ahead of his front bumper.
We hit third and I pulled away. by the end of that short little track i had about 1 and a half cars on him still pulling. The progressive topend charge is great!

that's awesome! any more info on the progressive controller? I'm getting nitrous VERY soon...and I have 4.10s..I already spin going into 2nd gear as it is...so this sounds like a good idea...how much is it? how hard is it to install? does it only work with plate systems?

You can find more info about the controller at the NOS website now. Its a brand new device they just put on the shelves. Its $239.99. Thats a steal since it has a window switch and a WOT switch all built in! I can go from a 50shot to a 100 shot in like 20 seconds! It allows you to have COMPLETE control of the power output. I am running 85hp for the street and 100hp on saturday nights.......

Also you can run a larger shot of n20 when using a progressive controller. When using one your maximizing the amount of spray that is efficiently injested into the engine. Its much softer on the engine, and it allows a safer a/f ratio as it is ramping. When at say 4500rpm, you can run full 100hp with minimal strain on the motor.

It works with all systems, solenoids, ignition systems, and drive by wire cars....

Keep an eye on your solenoids. Progressive controlers are known to cause premature failure.
