I dunno, it all sounded like "lets see who can give someone the bad name first." Spin tried to, and it backfired. I remember seeing his post for the lights, I've been looking for the covers or wtf ever they are called, i just call everything a do-dad anyways.

The whole "i'll refund you" thing was a bluff, in hopes that you would give him a better name for himself saying how good doing business was with him ect.. He never expected you to say you actually wanted it, I don't think.

I know what you mean when you say you don't think to check on stuff when you first get the package, this is a good learning lesson for those of us who don't though. We need to, regardless of who we buy from.

Taking personal shots in such a serious matter such as this was uncalled for, most definately. Its one thing when you're butthurt over a thread, its another when you get screwed out of cash..

When I first joined and starting posting threads and replies ect I figured Spin was the forum idiot/jackass, and I figured no one really did business with him to begin with. After this, I don't think anyone will.

Maybe when he comes back a moderator can tell him he is not allowed to sell on these forums due to his false advertisement?

The lights work ok. They are not as bright as I thought they would be. That could be due to the fact that they are not installed in a car/housing that was designed for HIDs. Since they do not work on Hi/Lo Beams, I am forced to rewire my 4 fog lights to work independently off my fog light switch. They are blue, I'll give the description in the ad that much.
Honestly, I wish I could re-sell them and get the ones I thought I was getting but since there is NO way I could ever get anything close to $150 for these since they are selling on eBay BRAND NEW for $138, I guess I gotta keep them.

I do have one final option, as many of you know, I drive a Tractor Trailer for a living. We deliver all over the South East. I am currently on my way to Jacksonville, Fl to deliver a load of Yarn. I can request a pick up at Port Everglades just outside of Ft. Lauderdale. While I am there, I can swing through Miami, since I have his work address, and see if I can settle this in person.

Well I guess that is true Jack. It's just that I have had the same thing happen to me and have been screwed over. So whenever I see some other scumbag pulling a scam like that I can't help but get pissed off. Especially when they are both well known members.

Or call him and tell him you are coming to get your 80% refund.

First off he wasn't pulling a ****in scam...

He didn't say, "hm... let me go **** some over and sell them garbage...

No doubt he should have done things different...

But still... why the **** did mike think they were so awesome... the only reason that they lost their awesomeness is cause he looked at the box for more then 10 seconds...

I think this whole piss and moan about spin bullshit is out of hand...

Throwing around personal insults like 1rst graders picking on the fat kid with glasses...

****

When did I ever say they were awesome? All I said is that they were a nice kit/quality.
Keep trying to defend the fact that conducted a dishonest transaction. PERIOD!
Any way you look at he knew what he was selling and KNEW it wasn't the set from Mustang Tuning but still chose to advertise it as such.

One day, you will get screwed out of cash from someone you trusted.
