Rotors

http://mustangtuning.com/crdrandslrof.html ... I believe my rotors are warped and are looking to replace them with some slotted rotors. My brother said he heard people saying to not use rotors that are both slotted and cross drilled. He said he also heard to use slotted in the front and drilled in the rear. I was jw if you know anything about any of this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I heard that drilled are ok but slotted wear down the pads quicker.

other way around holmes.

Unless your doing Autocross, Drilled/Slotted rotors are a waste of your money. You will kill your brake pad life by getting both on your rotor. Slotted Rotors, however, are worth the money. They wont wear down your brake pads as much as the drilled ones, they're more sturdy, and they will give you better stopping distance than stock rotors.

www.tirerack.com has good deals on powerslots. I think stangsuspension may carry them also, but who knows.

If you are getting new rotors, make sure to get new pads too. Even if your old pads still have some life in them, especially if your rotors are warped. And make sure to allow them to seat, apx 300 miles, before trusting them to heavy breaking. I reccomend the EBC Green Stuff Pads (http://www.mustangtuning.com/mustangbrakes.html). I have them on my car with performance stock style (not drilled or slotted) rotors and they work great!
