Antennas

I would like to replace the "29 inch tall mastodonian staff " on my stang.
I like the black fixed ones.
Could you tell me more about it.
Can you pleaze find a picture of the 8" one.
Im brand new to customizing anything, so does it come with instructions and how hard is it to put in.
What tools does it require and do i need to cut ar drill anything?
Thank you for helping this noob

The only thing that you are going to need is a wrench to take the old one off, and to tighten the new one on. I personally have a 14" one on my Cobra and I think it looks VERY nice.

The bits and instructions are all included. It pretty much boils down to figuring out which screw/bit thingy fits and then screwing it into the antenna mount. All in all it will take you about 2 minutes.

Its so freakin easy a retarded chimpanzee could do it, but you might want to put a paper towel between the wrench and the attenna so you dont scratch it.

here is a pic of my stang with its 8incher.

Hey, my chimpanzee takes offense to that remark...

Depends on who you ask. I live in denver, the reception is no different from what i got with the sail mast.

other people say they lose reception.

So, buyer beware i guess.

If you live in a smaller town and are pretty far from the radio towers, you might be better off with the stock attenna.

Nope, no drilling, the old attenna just unscrews out of its socket and you replace it with the new attenna.

To put in a pic, when you are replying to a thread, scroll down a bit and you will see a button called "manage attachments" Hit it, then brose for the file and hit the upload button. nice an easy
