Default Small Steeda oval emblem mix up?

Well I ordered the Small Steeda Oval located here http://www.mustangtuning.com/smstovem.html I ordered it along with the mach 1 grill delete and a gasket for my short throw. It all came in the same box of course and at first I couldn't find the Steeda emblem anywhere. So I threw the box down and then I noticed it came out of nowhere. The reason why I couldn't find it I guess was because it was a FLAT STICKER! And it doesn't even fit all the way over the emblem. Anybody else get one of these? Any help from MT on this?? I want my dimensional EMBLEM not a crappy sticker

As far as I know that steeda thing is just a sticker thingy, not so much an actual emblem.

On the website catalog it states that its not just a sticker, but an actual emblem.

Yeah, the product description on MT and Steeda's website both say it is NOT a sticker! And calls it a emblem, there's no way this can be right. A sticker and an emblem are totally different. I'll try to call MT tomorrow and see, might even call Steeda.

Can I interject?

I think you are both right. Every after-market badge I have ever seen is a lot thiner than the stock ones. And, they simply stick on while the stockers stick on, but also have a post that goes through the stock holes.

What I think you got was something a lot thicker than just a sticker or a decal, but not as thick as the stockers.

hmm.. now even I'm confused.. this is what Steeda's website says word for word..

This is not a flat sticker, these three-dimensional badges fit exactly over the Ford emblems adding the perfect, subtle touch to your Steeda!

calls them badges, but also says three dimensional, meaning that it should completely go over the Ford emblem, not just be thicker.

I am not sure how it could fit over the Ford emblem. That does not make sense to me unless it was a flat sticker.

I was thinking basically a hollow emblem that is a tad bit bigger than the Ford

Yea I know how looks can be deceiving, I got that fake sticker for the sun visor and its waaaaay bigger then the sun visor one, like for a bumper sticker... You guys wouldnt happen to know where you could get a sticker that really fits over that would you?

the fake sticker for the sunvisor? How do they make a fake sticker for that? One not made by Steeda? Sounds like you should make a seperate thread to really be able to get help on that situation. The issue I'm having says it's not a flat sticker and it really is.
