Short Throw Shifter
I am going to get a short throw shifter next for my mustang. On this site there are some here but i just dont know what the difference is and why the prices are different. There is the Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter and the Mustang tuning and finally the Ford Racing . Does anyone know which one would be best to get? I am looking at spending around 200-250 for one. Any output would help. To me it looks like the best one would be the Steeda one, not only is it shipped free:hello2:, it comes with the handle and everything so i wont have to spend extra on it.

Combo package is the best deal. Thats the one Id like to get but for my 3650.

From what I understand, the Steeda Tri-Ax shifter and the Mustang Tuning shifter are the exact same thing. Mustang Tuning made the shifter with the Steeda specs. And then just add the Steeda handle. I believe it is cheaper. That's the route I believe I will be going. I believe some other members have the MT shifter and say it's just as good as the Steeda shifter.

so basically with the steeda, you are paying the extra money for the name?

Steeda tri-ax for 3650 with knob is 190
MT base with steeda shifter handle is 150 - no knob You could get the MT base with trick flow handle for 140. Steeda combo package - 190 MT/steeda with average knob price - 180 MT/trick flow with average knob - 170 Itll be the same price basicly in the end. |
