Clutch Adjustments, Chin Spoilers, and Springs..
http://www.mustangtuning.com/noname3.html
What Exactly does this do? I understand that It lets you adjust your Clutch Cable, but does it give you more pressure on the pedal? Could someone educate me? :helpsmili  Im also looking for the 94-98 Chin spoiler, any idea where to get it? Because MT is O.O.S. Next on the list: Does anyone think that a 2" drop is too much for a 98 v6Mustang, or would it be just right for 17/10's w/ lopro's?. Thanks!! |
It changes the height of where the pedal releases, so if you are a hardcore drag racer and dont want to shove the pedal all the way to the floor, this enables you to move the release point higher up for quicker activation.
The 94-98 Chin Spoiler is the same part as the 03/04 chin spoiler. 2" drop should be fine. Just use a 315/35/17 tire on that 17x10.5 |
Thanks!!! Much appreciated! As far as the 2" drop goes, how much adjustment as far as Caster/Camber goes would be needed? Would I be better off to go with like a 1.25" drop and forget all of the adjusting?

Even with a 1.25" Drop you might need caster camber plates.
Get a 4 Bolt Caster Camber plate design. It will give you more adjustment for better tuning. |
Well, Im pretty sure that im going to have 17/10's all the way around.
I need to decide what kind of drop I need to achieve a nice look, I don't want it to look like a low rider lol! What is the average drop that most go with on a STOCK 98 V6. Am I going overboard looking at a 2" drop? Should I be looking more towards 1" - 1.5"? I know, im a question whore, but I know my limitations I really haven't gotten into the mechanical side much yet so I want to be sure that Im going about every detail the correct way.. So with that said, here comes the next set of questions... Is there a MAJOR difference between a set of springs that cost $300 on Mustang tuning, and a set that cost $80+ on eBay or another Site or Catalog? Like these, that Include a lifetime warranty. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-98...QQcmdZViewItem Will I need to replace the Struts if I go with a new Spring? If so, what Do I need to look for? Anything In particular? This is the Wheel Design, but they still have the Cobra emblems. http://oewheels.net/oe-scr-4-5-new.jpg Thanks again everyone, I hope im not too much of a pain, Im just trying to learn... |
EDIT** The rims are 17/9" Misinformation... lol anyway.. So, im assuming that I would be fine with a 1" spacer on the back..
I got bored and played around a little.... :loser: Before http://www.geocities.com/wnracing/Before.jpg After http://www.geocities.com/wnracing/After.jpg |

I cant speak for that company, but i do know companies like H&R and Eibach tend to back their products to an extreme. Remember, your drop will be a little less than a GT's because your front end weight is going to be less than that of a V8. |
