Installing EL White Face Gauges

Hi,
I have everything installed to the factory cluster, I am confused where to connect the wires for power. I understand that the ground wire can be secured to bare metal behind the cluster to provide good grounding. Where do I get a 12v source and exactly where do I tap in?
Thanks in advance

Ok, found the wire, installed gauges. I've got a new issue though now. The speedo needle lags, I don't think it's stuck on the gauge surface, it just takes a long time to get up to speed. This was not a problem before installing the gauges. :angry9: These things have been giving me fits..I can't really drive the car until I fix this..
Thanks,

Ya, the same thing happened to me... I messed with it for days and days and here's what I came up with.

when you lay the guage sheet over your cluster keep it vertical, like lay it on your lap. What was happening with mine was the speedo forks werent touching the glow sheet but the glow sheet WAS resting downward on top of the cylinders that are attached to the spinning motors. what I did to get rid of it was lay it flat on your lap and make sure there is equal distance around each of the "resting" pegs (the things that stop your speedo at 0). then bolt it back on so it cant fall back to resting on the speedos.

If that doesn't work then u might wanna try some light double sided adhesive behind the gauges (worked for my friend). His got a very slight bend in it and would not lay flat. this fixed it.
