OK, I bought my 01 GT in June 2004 from a car dealer I used to sell for.

Car was on the lot for $18,991, (yeah RIIIGGHHTT), Ended up paying $12,200 for car with a extended warranty. The car had a MAC CAI on it already. Figured that was a great deal, and it left me with $$ to spend on parts. I always thought the car sounded and performed better than stock...

I'm in my Masters Degree Program for MIS, so I don't have as much free time to work on my car as I'd like. So most of the time I bring it to mechanics/places I trust for work. So over the last year, I've brought the car to my local Ford dealer for work. Jim, the service guy is a good friend of mine. Each time I bring it in, I find out the previous owner had already ugraded something I had planned to do myself!

In August of 04, I had a small oil leak, so I took advantage of my extended warranty, and had it fixed, thats when Jim tells me the car has 3.55 gears. So I guess I don't need gears....

In Dec 04, I bring it in for regular maintenance, and he tells me I have FlowMaster 40s on it. So I guess i don't need to upgrade the mufflers....

Just last week I brought the car in, tentioner pulley was a little loud for my tastes (turned out to be the belt), and Jim tells me I have a set of Steeda Underdrive Pulleys! So I guess I don't need pulleys....

So yesterday I bring the car over to Big O tires for a rotation, and an oil change, and ask the guy if I can take a peek under the car. LOL! Well, look at that! There's a MAC 2.5" High Performance Dual Catalytic H-Pipe!

Of all the performance Mods listed in my sig, I've only had to pay for the Throttlebody, Plenum, & the Shifter!

...Think I got a better deal than even I thought!
