probably a stupid question but this is my first mustang and i cant find the pvc valve. any help would be appreciated

Should be in the back of the lower intake (very close to the firewall) right in the centerline of the motor. It's a straight valve, so typically it won't come out by pulling the hose. You usually have to get a hold of the actual PCV woth something to get it out. There is also a screen under the PCV that will clog up over time that you can take out with a needle nose pliers
