Default New Exhaust Question for a 1995 GT 5.0

Just brought my second Mustang a 1995 GT 5.0; I own a 2003 V6 my son has taken to collage. The pervious owner put straight pipes on the car and is really loud and rusting out!! Looking for suggestions on a totally new exhaust set up. Thanks for your suggestions.

I'd say to look at a complete package system from any of the good makers... bassani comes to mind as being good quality without being super high cost. Flowmaster sounds pretty good on 5.0's and if you have full tail pipes and cats it won't drone real bad. If you want a really ratty loud aggressive sound then SLP loudmouth system or Magnaflow's little can setup would be suitable.

Do you think headers or not with the new system?

I'm going to reply in this one instead of the other.

IMO I'd go ahead and do headers, if you ever plan on doing them later on. It'd be a lot easier to go ahead and do it now and then do a full setup like r3d said.

Bassani is very nice, as well as MAC. Youtube becomes your friend when looking for what they'd sound like. So I'd start there, and look at some different setups and then go from there.

Was looking for my cars same model and same thing I'm trying to fix on my car. What did you end up doing with your 5.0?
