New here but stang guy all the same,, I am putting a supercharger setup in my 92 5.0 I have all of the kit and fuel upgrades installed excpt for the fuel pump I was just testing last night after putting 36lb injectors and mass air in with out any of the belts on and it ran perfect just like it did before I changed everything so I decided to put the acc.belt on and it wouldnt hold an idle and would rev up and down???? I dont understand why running the belt would do this?? The only thing I can come up with is that I have a smog pump (not hooked up) and it is blowing air in the direction of the mass air without the air filter on also the h2o fan blowing in engine bay could this be causing this?? or possible alternator issue?? I plan on testing this stuff tonight but any other Ideas.. just dont understand why running the belt is crap but without is fine??
