Default throttle problem

just got a 92 LX 5.0 with a bunch of engine mods. Problem I am having is when you go to push the pedal to accelerate its hard to push and when you finally push it hard enough it goes down real fast causing the car to jerk. Its hard to drive it smooth this way. I think its a problem with the edlebrock throttle body. Its not the throttle cable cause when the car is off the pedal works real smooth. Any Ideas???

Its the shitty throttle body edlebrock/bbk. I'f I lube the butterfly plate in the tb the throttle works so smooth for a week then when the lube evaporates its back to binding and jerking
