Gasket alone is around 40-70 bucks depending on who you get it from and what brand. If you pay someone to do it for you it will be a few hundred dollars. If your mechanically inclined at all its not hard to swap them out just time consuming. A decent manual like a Chilton or Haynes manual found at the local parts store can help you through the process.

Here are a couple of things to consider as well... First of all if you go with FelPro gaskets they will run you about $40 per side depending where you get them. You also need to determine why you have a "bad" head gasket. These things usually don't go bad for any reason. I have found two normal causes (but not the only reasons!): 1 - A seriously overheated engine can cause head gasket failure. and 2 - Hand-in-hand with an overheated engine is head warpage. Your head(s) could be warped to the point of causing head gasket failure. Bottom line if you are looking for a cheep fix, you first need to understand what caused the failure in the first place. Spending hard earned $$$ on head gaskets withou knowing could spell more $$$ in the long run as well as a destroyed engine. Good luck,
