I would start on the inside where you spend most of your time. Replace the carpet, and those seats asap there nasty. You can get replace carpet cheap and summitracing.com sells racing buckets for cheap too. The euro tails need to be taken off and sold asap and get some stockers put on now! Otherwise looks like a sweet project car for cheap too.

where you wanna start is up to you. whats important to you? performance? looks?
ide say kill the taillights asap, and then go from there. wheels and tires would be on my to fox list. but after that, interior, exterior, handling, raw power. its up to you and what you wanna do with the car to make it what you want it to be.

You spent 700 really good bucks. Now you're gunna spend about 10K more, so be ready for that. When you're done you'll have a showpiece.
First things first, FIX ALL THE PROBLEMS. By fix I mean find the system that it's part of and replace the whole thing. If the brakes are about to need new pads, then get a 5-lug upgrade and SN95 two piston caliper upgrade and new A-arms. If your shocks are done, get new Tokico Illumina's or Bilsteins all the way around. The point is to not just replace the brokeness but upgrade as well. It costs about the same as a plain fix and it's worth it. What I'm saying is that you've got a pretty old car and the only thing you should be attached to is the body. Everything else can be replaced and eventually will be. Replace big hunks of the thing each time and do it with good quality parts. If you don't know what parts you'll need... we can probably be helpful there.

Welcome, even though im a noob here to. Get rid of those tailights, and then its pretty much up to you, whatever your budget allows/what you want is what i would do. The guys here can pretty much help you with anything you need, so dont be afraid to ask.

Well spent 700 dollars. Just like R3D said, you might as well start fixing everything with better parts. It will be interesting to watch the progress of your fox, keep us updated!

Grats on money well spent. First and foremost, replace those taillights, secondly, listen to R3d. I just wish I was lucy enought to find a 5.0 in that shape for $700 bucks, so my search continues...

That really aint bad for 700...depending on how the engine and trans perform. Like everyone else said, those Euros are absolute must-go!!
Followed by those turbine wheels, its amazing what a good set of pony wheels does for a fox. After that, I would tackle that interior it looks like the speakers are history....and its no fun cruisin with out any tunage. Then just focus on one thing and deal with that area till your happy and move on from there. Itll will take alot of time and money, but dont let that steer you away, cuz in the end I guarantee you will be owning a badass Fox GT!!! Enjoy it broheim!!! |
