looking to turbo my 5.0 what avail ,for a good price

a cheap turbo kit is an oxymoron. And no, that's not an idiot with acne.

FWIW... you can sometimes find a Hellion kit on Ebay for fox bodies. Be careful who you deal with. Ebay bad predator country for turbo finders.

if you're looking for a cheap turbo kit, you're gonna get what you pay for.

a nice 64mm turbo would work great for your car...they run about $4500 for a good one.

you could piece something together with a pair of turbo coupe turbos and some shorties mounted upside downm but youde have to be a good fabricator... or know/pay one. or you could buy a ready to go kit. keep an eye on the power adder section of corral.net

A cheap turbo is a "junk yard" turbo

a junkyard turbo is usually a factory turbo left on a car, like the old saabs, isuzus, volvos, chryslers, buicks... even the ford probe... there is a good listing here of all the cars you should look out for if looking for a junkyard turbo...

JY/DIY Setups consist of building your own kit with parts you have and such
You can take the stock shortie headers off and flip them upside down and weld flanges on to them and hav a decent size turbo bolted it to it,
theres also a matter of clearence issues and using parts off other cars andsuch, you can use a exhaust pipng to set up your own IC, and get an IC off a stock Turbo car such as Volvo

Twin T3's 60/40 are most ideal since its pretty much the biggest and best turbo on a stock car excluding trucks

so start collecting many turbo parts as much as you can and start doing some research

Whatever you decide to cobble up, when turbo hunting look for external wastegate or at minimum externally adjustable wastegate models. Save yourself a little hassle that way.

Compressors from big old diesel pickups aren't always the best idea especially to use as is but, you have a killer base to have rebuilt with more appropriate hot and cold wheels and have a large and well matched turbo at a bargain.
