i bought an electric fan from jegs. proform electric fan for my 89 GT. the vibrations of the motor and such have called the nuts to come lose and caused the fan blades to rub the fan shroud in which ripped all the blades off. does anyone on here had this problem b4? i called jegs to get me another one but the warranty on that is over. i need to call the other company this week, but work is kicking my ass. also if this has happened to anyone else did u try to rebuild urself an electric fan, like im pretty sure i can lol weld on some blades or something.
I'm going to philly this sunday for some food and street racing so i dont want any over heating problems. thanks for the help.I love this mod by the way and as long as im doing highway driving the car runs cool. but its when i get to stop light to stop light is when i may run into a problem.a great mod for all u 5.0 guys.

Thats some weird shit the fan is bolted on, seems like alot of extra rotating weight for that fan. Looks like you know what to do, get a new fan blades for it bolt it on using some thread locker and you will be good to go. Never seen or heard of shit like that happening though.
