call comp cams, tell them what you have, what you want and how much money you have. They'll take care of you.

It has ot match the heads, intake and gearing to get the most out of a cam, and if you plan to upgrade the heades etc.. later on it will change all of this too. So call a cam company and they can get into this more with you. Or me i would get my hands ona pair of heads first then find a cam. Really a cam should be done after you have your combo together then get a cam to maximize what you have.

preach it brutha'... preach it.

The man speaks the truth. Figure out your cam last. Also... cams don't make "deep loud sound" they make power band settings in hardware.

how much money do you have? how fast do you want it?

warning: quality = $$$. There's no substitute for money in the quest for reliable power.

Trick flow makes a really pimpin top end kit. So does edelbrock. Stay with something realistic or you'll start losing street manners. Chasing HP numbers is not what you want to get distracted doing.

look at some of the ford cams. I think the most popular ones are the E303 or F303 cams.
