i have a 1990 mustang lx, and someone i know has a 1986 svo, and was telling me i could use all the front end parts (engine cradle, control arms, struts, and breaks) from his car as well as the rear end which is only a 7.5. would all these parts work with my car? and also how much power can a 7.5 handle? is it worth swapping that out or would it be better just to get new axles and brakes? he said he would sell me everything from his svo for $650, 250 for the front end and 400 for the rear

you can buy axels and rear brake drums for your car for like $350.00 and you can use the stock front brake rotors of a lincon without any modification to your spindals ! I will try to get the year and model linclon for you tommorow

thanks alot, if i use the svo parts for the front will that require any modification?

if you use the suspension out of the svo i believe that you will have to modify some things because taht suspension is made for a four cylinder turbo engine

well, if i use the axles from a ranger with a 7.5'' rear end, couldn't i just use the axles from a 7.5'' rear from an 86 svo 5-lug mustang?

im pretty sure the SVO axles put the wheels out, which was fine back in the day when everyone was running ford 8" wheels... but if you wanna step up to more modern wheels, ide use the ranger axles...
