Oh man that is a borad question.
Cams differ because they have different durations (how long valve is open) different amounts of lift (how far the valve opens) and at what points it opens the valves. Cams arent something you just go i want this ok done. You need one to work with the heads and intake. If you want any kinda good power gains from it. You also need to have the right rear end gear and or stall convertor to get the most from the cam (acceleration wise). You need to figure out if your gonan do a turbo, superchrager, stay n/a,Make BIG n/a power, street daily driver n/a power,or a nitrous cam. Once you know for SURE what you plans are then you can call a cam company to get the best cam for that setup. I like Comp cams alot personly. www.compcams.com |
Stock or slight modified go with a E 303 cam. if you get more goodies, gears, and such so with an F303 cam
